Uglymug, Epicfighter Manga Gets a TV Anime Adaptation
BIG news for anime fans. Uglymug, Epicfighter is officially getting a TV anime adaptation! Here’s a quick look at what makes this series so exciting.

From Web Novel to Manga Hit
Uglymug, Epicfighter started as a web novel by Ryo Hiromatsu, running from 2015 to 2022. Its unique story and unforgettable characters quickly gained popularity, leading to a manga adaptation illustrated by Osamu Kozuki. The manga was serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine from 2017 to 2020, wrapping up with six volumes.
A Sequel Manga is Coming Too
The story doesn’t end with the original series! A sequel manga, Busamen Gachi Fighter SSS, will launch on December 25, 2024. Fans can look forward to even more action-packed adventures.

Anime Details: What We Know So Far
The anime adaptation will be produced by Egg Firm and animated by the highly respected White Fox studio. While we don’t have a release date yet, the combination of these studios hints at a high-quality adaptation.
